African Paint Co., Ltd. was established in March 2009, and in September 2010, the 25,000 square meter African Paint Factory was completed in Soba New Industrial Park. We have contributed to the development of Sudan's industrial system through the manufacturing of paints and have a vast production capacity and management expertise.
The factory combines European technology and talented people to produce high-quality paints that are not content with mediocrity. With whopping sales numbers, every year in Sudanese markets surpass 100,000 gallons of oil-based and water-based paints named under our “Afro brand”, and much more products in the lines of adhesives, flooring epoxy, and wood applications.

GAPCO (Sudan) Ltd. was set up in Sudan after buying AGIP Sudan Ltd in June 1999. AGIP is one of the top three international companies to start marketing oil in Sudan in the 1950s. Together with these companies, AGIP oversaw the creation of the basic petroleum infrastructure for the importation, storage, and distribution of petroleum products in Sudan.
The Company runs domestic retail stores through directly run and dealer-managed locations that drive the distribution of its petroleum product portfolio. The main focal products include AGO & benzene petroleum products.
The company was the first to introduce LPG cylinders, with over 500,000 units and 10+ depots all over Sudan, and is also active in selling LPG bottles to petrol stations and dealer-run distribution centers, as well as wholesale LPG to bakeries, businesses, and industries. Direct and indirect sale of industrial fuels to customers. With the largest storage capacity for diesel in Port Sudan.
Petrola for land Transport is the subsidiary of Gapco that deals with transportation, operating nearly 20 trucks carrying the whole range of petroleum products to serve our in-house logistic purposes.
The Company is also engaged in the promotion and provision of premium automotive and industrial lubricants which is under the management of the sister company movement under MIG engineering. The distribution of petroleum products is supported by three company-owned and operated depots conveniently found close to the source and a fleet of tank trucks for fuel and road trucks for lubricants.
